ABC Kids TV show Bluey has been hugely successful over the last year, thanks to its distinctly Brisbane setting and relatability to parents and kids alike.
Aside from being a lot of fun, Bluey also offers much for us to learn from. The show follows a family of blue heeler cattle dogs who live ordinary, suburban lives. Bluey, her sister and their parents spend most of their time engaged in imaginative play.

Another great element of the show Bluey is it’s distinctly Brisbane setting. Bluey and her family ride on Citycats, and enjoy the purple jacaranda flowers. This helps to remind us to teach our kids to appreciate the area where they live and to enjoy what it has to offer.
